Introduction
- The ROTLD control panel allows you to set or update the nameservers on a registered domain.
Requirements
- You will need the ROTLD authentication data.
- Access to the email inbox associated with the ROTLD account (where the confirmation link will be sent for validating actions taken in the account).
- The nameservers associated with the hosting package. For example, in the case of shared hosting: ns1.hostico.ro, ns2.hostico.ro, ns3.hostico.ro, ns4.hostico.ro.
Steps
- The ROTLD authentication interface will be accessed at the following address: https://rotld.ro/domadmin/
- We will fill in the domain name and password, after which we will click the Continue button.
- The main interface of the ROTLD administration panel will load.
- To make the desired changes, we will click on Nameservers.
- In the next window, we will enter the nameservers we want to set on the domain and click the Update button. As an example, I used the nameservers Hostico.
- Immediately after pressing the button, we will be greeted by an informational message "An email has been sent to the email address ........................... containing the confirmation key. Use this key to confirm the operation "Attach Nameserver to Domain" that is currently being confirmed!"
- ROTLD will send an email containing a link (the confirmation key). Once we access this link, the operations performed in the account will be confirmed.
- We will open the email sent by ROTLD and click on Confirm the operation.
- After accessing the link we will be greeted with a confirmation message The update was successful. Please check the updated information!
- From this moment, the new nameservers will be set on the domain. Propagation may take up to 24 hours.
